Does God Call Everyone, or Only a Few of Us?

I was reading my prayer this morning and it made me think about something. Not everyone gets this calling. Not everyone gets this opportunity. Why me?

Or does everybody get it, and only a few of us actually answer?

Either way, I am just so grateful.

I wonder if it goes back further than me. My parents were followers of Christ. My grandparents were too. Probably my great grandparents as well. I wonder if I fall in a line of Christ followers, and if that's part of why I'm here.

I am happy and thankful that I am one of the ones who have been called. I get this opportunity. I pray I represent Him well.
