A Prayer For When You Feel Like You've Waited Long Enough

Last night I hit a wall. I felt like I had waited long enough. What's the holdup? Surely I'm ready. I've been ready. I felt the frustration of being in a season that doesn't match what I know I'm here for, and how badly I want to be focused on my purpose instead of stuck in the in-between.

So I prayed this instead of staying in the frustration.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I often want immediate solutions to my problems and the difficult times in my life. It is so hard to wait, but I know your timing is perfect. I know your ways are perfect for me.

As I wait, help me learn from the situation I'm in. Help me focus on the blessings I already have. Help me praise you for everything you're doing, everything you've done, and everything you're going to do.

When I feel weak, remind me that you are strong. When I feel like giving up, bless me with the strength to persevere.

I want to spend every part of my life praising you, trusting you, and loving you and your people.

In Jesus' name, Amen. Amen indeed!
