Faith in the City
Bold faith in real life. The questions people are afraid to ask in church, asked anyway. Scripture studied like it matters, because it does.
New drops, faith content, business resources, and real talk. None of the noise.
You found your space.
I write the way I live it. The faith questions I actually wrestle with, the business I am building from scratch, and the son I am raising to think for himself. Pick the conversation you need today.
Find Your ReadI've dealt with suicidal thoughts, sexual assault, and loss. The kind of weight that makes you question if you're still worth anything, still loved, still called. And somehow, on the other side of all of that, I found a peace I genuinely cannot explain. A joy I wake up excited about. A hope that has no logical reason to exist and yet here it is, every single day.
That's why I'm here.
I never planned to write any of this down. Blogging was something I said I would never do. But documenting this, my faith transformation, my life as a mom, the entrepreneur dreams and the obstacles, the grief, the different emotions I've been working through, it became a release I didn't know I needed. And then God made it clear this wasn't just for me.
So I'm being transparent. All of it. The worldly season. The messy middle. The chaos. The calling that came anyway.
Because I want you to know that wherever you are, whatever you've done, however overwhelmed or chaotic your life feels right now, you can still have peace beyond understanding. You can still be called. You can still be used by the Creator of the world.
Here you'll find real thoughts from a mom, a disciple in training, and an entrepreneur figuring it out in real time:
Share your story. Tell me what you're working through. My hope and prayer is that something here helps you. That you see someone who has been through it and still found joy worth talking about.
We are all in this together.
As I dictate this in my journal, I have been in tears for the last 10 minutes and crying on and off for at least the last 30. This is what showing up honest actually looks like.

Ten plus years of corporate expertise turned into something of my own. The wins, the glitches, the tired days, and the receipts. For every professional who knows they are built for more.

I am Tanya Terrell Sampong. Faith-led entrepreneur, single mom to Jordan, founder of The Kharis Company, and the Atmosphere Architect. I have walked through divorce, career pivots, business failures, and seasons I did not think I would survive. Grace carried me through every single one.
My work helps people find spaces where their days are filled with joy, peace, and love, so they can show up as their best self everywhere they go.
These blogs are that work in written form. No highlight reel. No performance. Just what is true, said out loud.
